Chicken and Buttered Noodles in One Pan
Ingredients
For the Chicken:
1½ lbs (700 g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
For the Noodles and Sauce:
3 cups (720 ml) chicken broth
2 cups (480 ml) milk or half-and-half
12 oz (340 g) egg noodles
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon dried thyme or Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional Garnish:
Fresh chopped parsley
Grated Parmesan cheese
