Season and Cook the Chicken
Season the chicken on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat olive oil or butter in a large deep skillet or pan over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.
Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
Prepare the Sauce Base
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium-low.
Add butter and minced garlic, stirring for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth and milk, stirring to combine.
Add dried thyme or Italian seasoning.
Cook the Noodles
Bring the liquid to a gentle simmer.
Add the egg noodles, stirring to prevent sticking.
