Instructions
1. Prepare the vegetables
– Wash and trim asparagus, then cut into 2-inch pieces.
– Clean mushrooms with a damp cloth and slice evenly.
– Mince the garlic cloves.
2. Cook
– Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
– Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
– Increase to medium-high heat, add mushrooms, and cook for about 5 minutes until browned and soft.
– Add asparagus, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 4–5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
3. Optional finish
– Just before serving, stir in balsamic vinegar or a squeeze of lemon juice for extra flavor.
4. Serve
– Serve hot and enjoy immediately.
