Preparation
First, my dears, cut the store-bought puff pastry into squares.
Then bake them in a preheated oven at 180°C (356°F) for about 15 minutes.
Let them cool down a little afterward.
Once cooled, cut the pastry squares in half horizontally.
Pour the milk into a saucepan, add the sugar and pudding powder, and cook into a thick pudding. Let it cool completely.
(Optional tip:)
Try this too — it’s incredibly tasty:
Mix egg liqueur (advocaat) with 300 ml of cream.
After the pudding has cooled, whip the cream (sweetened with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar), then fold it into the pudding mixture.
Finally, fill the puff pastry “pillows” with the vanilla cream and dust with powdered sugar.
