Meat and Cheese Burger
Preparation:
– Form 4 equal patties with the ground beef.
– Season generously with salt and pepper.
– Heat a skillet with a drizzle of oil.
– Cook the patties for 3 to 4 minutes per side (depending on your desired level of doneness: rare or well-done).
– At the end of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each hot patty to melt deliciously.
– Cut the burger buns in half.
– Lightly toast them (in a toaster or cut-side down in a skillet) so they are crispy and don’t absorb too much sauce.
– Spread the bottom half of the buns with your favorite sauces (ketchup, mayonnaise, mustard).
– Place the patty on top of the melted cheese. 10 – Add a slice of tomato, a lettuce leaf, and a few onion slices.
– Replace the top of the bread and press lightly. Serve immediately!
