Fried Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwiches

• 8 slices of toast bread (or brioche, preferably slightly stale)
• 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
• 1 tablespoon butter (for frying)
• 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (optional)

For the topping:
• Powdered sugar
• Honey or maple syrup (optional)

1. Prepare the Cream:
In a bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and labneh until smooth. You will get a slightly sweet and creamy mixture.
2. Assemble the Sandwiches:
Spread the cheesecake cream on one side of the bread slices. Place thinly sliced strawberries on top. Cover with another slice of bread and press the edges lightly.
3. Fry:
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Melt a little butter. Place the sandwiches in the skillet and fry until both sides are golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side).
4. Serve:
Sprinkle powdered sugar over them before serving hot. If desired, drizzle a little honey or maple syrup over them. 🍯,
