Step 1: Prep & preheat
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
Step 2: Mix dry ingredients
In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Step 3: Mix wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
Step 4: Combine
Slowly add wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir just until combined; batter should be thick and slightly lumpy.
Step 5: Bake
Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.
Step 6: Add topping
While baking, mix sugar and cinnamon for topping. Once bread is done and still warm, brush top with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon sugar mixture evenly.
Step 7: Cool & serve
Cool in pan for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack. Slice and enjoy.
