Chocolate Peanut Salami: a Delicious Idea to Try!

Instructions

Step 1: Create the Fudgy Mixture
In a medium saucepan, combine the condensed milk, chopped dark chocolate, and butter. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the chocolate and butter have completely melted and the mixture becomes thick and smooth. Remove from heat.

Step 2: Add the Peanuts
Stir the 250g of roasted peanuts into the warm chocolate mixture until they are evenly distributed.

Step 3: Form the Salami
Transfer the mixture onto a large sheet of parchment paper. Using a spatula or lightly wet hands, shape the mixture into a tight, compact log, roughly the shape of a salami. Roll the parchment paper around the log tightly, twisting the ends to secure its shape. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours, or until very firm.

Step 4: Prepare the Glaze
Once the salami is firm, prepare the glaze. In a clean saucepan or a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water (double boiler), gently melt the milk chocolate with the vegetable oil. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat and mix in the 50g of ground peanuts.

Step 5: Apply the Glaze
Unwrap the chilled salami log and place it on a wire rack set over a baking sheet (to catch drips). Pour the warm chocolate glaze evenly over the log, using a spatula to help coat all sides completely.

Step 6: Set and Serve
Allow the glaze to set at room temperature until firm. For a faster set, you can refrigerate it for 20-30 minutes. Once the glaze is hard, transfer the salami to a serving plate and slice it into rounds.

Enjoy your delicious homemade Chocolate Peanut Salami!
