Baked Beans with a Kick

These hearty baked beans are packed with flavor, combining smoky bacon, a sweet and tangy sauce, and a spicy kick from the picante sauce. Perfect for a potluck or barbecue!

  • 6 strips bacon, chopped

  • 1 cup yellow onion, chopped

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) pork and beans

  • 2 cans (15 oz each) red kidney beans, rinsed and drained

  • 1 can (15 oz) butter beans, rinsed and drained

  • ¼ cup barbecue sauce

  • ¼ cup ketchup

  • ¼ cup granulated sugar

  • ¼ cup packed brown sugar

  • 2 tbsp molasses

  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 cup picante sauce
