Instructions:
First, preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F). Cut the apples into small pieces and mix them with 2 teaspoons of cinnamon.
In a bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy. Then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
Add the flour, baking powder, the remaining cinnamon, and the pinch of salt. Mix everything well.
Now fold the apples into the batter. Grease a cake tin and pour in the batter.
Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, until it is golden brown and firm.
Let it cool down, then serve.
