Preparation:
First, peel, core, and roughly chop the apples.
Mix the quark, rapeseed oil, vanilla seeds, and sugar. Then knead in the flour and baking powder by hand, and finally add the apples. (The larger pieces make the fritters nice and juicy.)
Shape 6–9 balls and bake at 180 °C (fan oven) for 25 minutes. If desired, roll them in cinnamon sugar while still hot.
