Chocolate Pound Cake

Ingredients:

1 cup (230g) unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups (300g) granulated sugar

4 large eggs, at room temperature

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

½ cup (50g) unsweetened cocoa powder

½ tsp baking powder

½ tsp salt

1 cup (240ml) whole milk (or buttermilk for extra richness)

1 tsp vanilla extract

(Optional) ½ cup (90g) semi-sweet chocolate chips for extra decadence
