Slow Cooker Salisbury Steak with Rich Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients:

For the Patties:

1 ½ lbs ground beef
1 egg
¼ cup minced onion
¼ cup breadcrumbs
1 garlic clove, minced
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Gravy:

1 small onion, thinly sliced
6 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 ½ cups beef broth
1 packet brown gravy mix
1 tbsp ketchup (optional, for depth)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for tang)
2 tbsp cornstarch
